  • Assistance Needed: Upcoming Corpus Christi Mass and Procession – Tridentine Mass Society of Madison

    Corpus Christi, the Eucharistic Feast in honor of the Body of Christ, is approaching fast on June 4. His Excellency, Bishop Robert Morlino will be celebrating a Pontifical Mass at the throne, followed by a Eucharistic Procession for this great feast. Mass begins at 7pm at the Bishop O’Connor Center, in the chapel.
    Benediction will be celebrated at several altars around the grounds, including some altars outdoors (see right), and flowers are needed.

    To assist in the preparations for this procession, consider assisting us offsetting the cost HERE.

  • Mass in time of pestilence – Tridentine Mass Society of Madison

    Due to the coronavirus pandemic, His Excellency Bp Hying has granted permission to use the Mass in time of pestilence (Missa “Tempore mortalitatis”) and the Mass for the sick (Missa “Pro infirmis) as 2nd Class votives at the TLM through June.

    We will celebrate the Mass in time of pestilence at SMPB on Saturday, 3/14, at 10:00 AM CDT (15:00 UTC). Please join us in prayer whether in person, or online. The Mass will be streamed on the parish website: https://stmarypinebluff.com/live-stream/

    The forty days, which St. Luke tells us in Acts had passed between Christ’s Resurrection and His glorious Ascent into Heaven, are nearly completed. On Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 6:30 PM, we will have a Solemn Mass at St. Mary’s Pine Bluff to commemorate the Ascension of Our Lord.

    On Sunday, 28 April, the 7:30 AM Mass at St Mary’s Pine Bluff will be a Solemn Mass for the Octave Day of Easter / Low Sunday. We will also be singing the Te Deum immediately after Mass in thanksgiving for the appointment of our new bishop.
