On Friday, October 13, 2017, His Excellency the Most Rev Robert Morlino celebrated a Pontifical Mass at the Throne in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at St Mary’s Parish in Pine Bluff. The propers were a Votive Mass of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Music — directed by Mr Aristotle Esguerra — included Gregorian Propers, the Missa secunda a 3 by Giammateo Asola for the ordinary, and motets by Arcadeldt and Stadlmayr.
