  • Solemn Mass in Ashton for Patronal Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul – Tridentine Mass Society of Madison

    Join the TMSM for a Solemn Mass St. Peter’s in Ashton to celebrate the Feast Day of Sts. Peter and Paul! Mass is on June 29 at 7pm.

    Additionally, it is the titular feast of the parish, so the faithful can receive a plenary indulgence by attending Mass, and fulfilling the usual conditions of:

    1) Confession 2) Communion

    3) Prayer for the objective intentions of the papacy: The progress of the Faith and triumph of the Church, peace and union among Christian Princes and Rulers.the conversion of sinners, and the uprooting of heresy.

    This Wednesday, December 4, will be the first anniversary of the interment of His Excellency, Bishop Robert Morlino. To commemorate, we will have a Solemn Requiem Mass to pray for the repose of his soul. The Requiem Mass will be at St Mary’s Pine Bluff, at 6:30 PM.

    We have now entered the liturgical season of Lent, and thus violet vestments have been the norm for the last three Sundays.     The annual meeting of the Madison Tridentine Mass Society will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in the gym of St. Mary of Pine Bluff parish, 3673 County Highway P, Cross Plains, WI 53528. The meeting will follow Mass in the Extraordinary Form in the church, which will be offered at 5:30 P.M.

    For Easter morning, the regularly scheduled 7:30am Sunday Mass at St. Mary’s in Pine Bluff will be celebrated Solemnly, that is, with a deacon and subdeacon assisting. Fr.
