On Thursday, 27 August 2020, His Excellency Most Reverend Donald J. Hying, Bishop of Madison, will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Traditional Roman Rite. During this time when so many people do not have the ability to participate at Holy Mass in church, I am \u2013 along with quite a few other priests \u2013 saying Mass each day with a live video stream over the internet. Slowly but surely, churches are being opened for more and more people. Mass attendance is rising again. This morning there was a good \u201csocially distanced\u201d crowd for the Vetus Ordo Mass at St. Mary\u2019s in Pine Bluff. Video of the Mass is HERE. Today at St. Mary\u2019s in Pine Bluff, because of the COVID-19 problem, we had a bare bones crew but managed a Missa Cantata for Palm Sunday.
