The Tridentine Mass Society will hold a Solemn Requiem Mass to pray for the repose of His Excellency, the Most Rev Robert Morlino, our beloved departed Bishop of Madison on Thursday, December 6, 7:00 PM at St Mary’s Pine Bluff.
We will begin with Vespers of the Dead at 7:00 PM, followed by Mass at approximately 7:20 PM, and concluding with Absolution at the catafalque.

On Lætare Sunday, 31 March 2019, we are planning on a Solemn Mass for the 7:30 AM TLM at St Mary’s Pine Bluff.
Although it’s no longer a Holy Day of Obligation, the Annunciation remains one of the most important Feast Days in the liturgical calendar. We plan to have a 6:30 pm Missa Cantata at St Mary’s Pine Bluff on Monday, 25 March to celebrate the beginning of our Lady’s exceptional maternity.
The annual meeting of the Madison Tridentine Mass Society will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in the gym of St. Mary of Pine Bluff parish, 3673 County Highway P, Cross Plains, WI 53528. The meeting will follow Mass in the Extraordinary Form in the church, which will be offered at 5:30 P.M.
The Tridentine Mass Society of the Diocese of Madison, founded in 2007, is a private association of the Roman Catholic faithful dedicated to the preservation of the “ancient form of the Roman rite” or an Extraordinary Form, as a legitimate usage of the Church’s liturgy. On Saturday, March 3, 2018, His Excellency the Most Rev Robert Morlino will celebrate a Pontifical Requiem Mass at the Throne to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the death of Fr Alfred Kunz.
Fr Kunz was the longtime pastor of St Michael’s parish in Dane, just north of Madison, where he was instrumental in continuing the Traditional Latin Mass in the Diocese of Madison during the “indult Mass” days. He was found murdered at his parish on March 4, 1998, in a case that remains unsolved.
The Mass will begin at 11:00 am at St Mary’s, Pine Bluff
On Feb 2, 2017, at 7:00pm, His Excellency Bishop Robert C. Morlino will offer a Pontifical Mass for the Feast of Candlemas, including the blessing of candles and procession.
The faithful may bring their own candles to be blessed. Please arrive early if you wish to do so, so that they can be placed in the appropriate location with the other candles.
Mass will take place at Holy Name Heights (formerly known as The Bishop O’Connor Center).
