  • Ash Wednesday Masses – Tridentine Mass Society of Madison

February 16, 2017 by TMSM Content

There will be a Sung Mass on Ash Wednesday at 6:30 pm at St Mary’s Pine Bluff.  Fr Heilman will be available to hear confessions during the Mass.

We are already well into the Septuagesima season, with violet vestments, the Gloria absent except on feast days, and the Alleluia-song buried until Easter. Hopefully you are preparing well for the upcoming Lenten penance, as the beginning of Lent is fast approaching on March 1st. While Ash Wednesday is not a Holy Day of Obligation, many of the Faithful will probably wish to attend Holy Mass to begin their Quadregesima discipline. So, here is the complete list of the Diocese of Madison’s

Ash Wednesday Masses in the Extraordinary Form

    • 6:30 am — St Norbert’s, Roxbury
    • 6:30 am — St Augustine, Platteville

  • Fr. Zuhlsdorf offering live-streamed Masses with a homily during the COVID-19 challenge – Tridentine Mass Society of Madison

April 4, 2020 by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf

During this time when so many people do not have the ability to participate at Holy Mass in church, I am – along with quite a few other priests – saying Mass each day with a live video stream over the internet. On week days I say Mass at Noon, Central Daylight Time (UTC -5). My channel is HERE. On Sunday’s we are keeping the regular schedule with a live stream from the parish, St. Mary’s in Pine Bluff, WI. That channel is HERE.

Also, we will be singing Vespers on Sunday and Tenebrae during the Triduum. Stay tuned.
